He also co-signed alongside him the dark and tortured text of “Disease”, the lead single of this new era that the popstar promises full of surprises. “ I like to be outside the boxes » she slips in an enigmatic tone to LA Timesconfirming in passing that his global hit “Die With A Smile” with Bruno Mars – which recently broke a historic streaming record – will be part of the tracklist, even if its rock and soul universe contrasts with the rest of the project. Definitely very Francophile since her appearance at the Paris Olympics, the singer notably teamed up with a French producer to define the contours of this highly anticipated album. Lady Gaga, unexpected Christmas rockstar
And like a gift before its time, Lady Gaga sends a new single to French radios. Please note, this is not an extract from “LG7” which will blast the dancefloors… but a cover of a famous Christmas carol, accompanying the end of the year and the winter season which is beginning! Animated by the spirit of Christmas, the singer set her sights on the cult “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, the oldest recorded version of which dates from 1934 and was successfully sung by Franck Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen. Except that the American popstar adds a twist by transforming this classic into a rock anthem, with lots of electric guitars! A piece that Lady Gaga premiered in a special Christmas edition of the famous “Carpool Karaoke”, with host Zane Lowe replacing James Corden. Her sisters Chappell Roan and Dua Lipa are in the cast of this episode to be discovered on Apple TV.
While Lady Gaga almost played in “Wicked” opposite Ariana Grande, next April she will headline the famous Coachella festival with Green Day and Post Malone. “ I have long dreamed of organizing a huge night of chaos in the desert » promised the popstar, who is undoubtedly planning an XXL show worthy of her legend.
