Rapper Booba has just taken sides in the rivalry between Cédric Doumbé and Ciryl Gane. During a Twitch live, the interpreter of “Validated” clearly showed his support for “Bon Gamin”, not hesitating to openly criticize the former kickboxing champion.

The tensions between Booba and Cédric Doumbé are not new. The two men regularly argue on social networks, and the rapper’s recent statements should not help matters.
“When you retrain in MMA and proclaim yourself champion… You haven’t faced anyone yet, so stop, brother,” said Booba, visibly annoyed by Doumbé’s pretensions. The DUC believes that the former kickboxer has not yet proven himself in the world of mixed martial arts.
Conversely, the rapper is full of praise for Ciryl Gane. He considers the Frenchman a “sacred monster” of MMA, praising his clashes against world-renowned fighters like Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones.
“Before saying that you are the face of French MMA, you have Ciryl Gane who, even if he did not win, fought against Ngannou, Jon Jones. So even if he lost, respect to him,” the rapper said.
Booba’s comments quickly sparked numerous reactions on social networks. MMA fans have been divided between those who support the rapper and those who defend Cédric Doumbé.
Will the former kickboxing champion react to Booba’s attacks? To be continued.
