On December 13, Billie Eilish gave a concert in the city of Glendale, Arizona (United States). In the middle of the song, she was the victim of a projectile, which she received directly in the head.
It’s an accident that happens more and more often. Billie Eilish paid the price for a jewelry throw from one of her fans, which landed in her head, during her last concert, in Arizona.
While the musician delighted her listeners by offering “What was I made for?” (song from the soundtrack of the film “Barbie”), she received a bracelet thrown towards her in the face. In the video taken by a fan, we can see the artist take a few moments to recover from this throw before continuing, as if nothing had happened.
The crowd, on the other hand, did not appreciate this throw and whistled and booed the author of this gesture. An increasingly common practice during celebrity concerts, who receive more and more objects from the stage.
Last year, Billie Eilish spoke on this subject for the Hollywood Reporter, declaring that she had “been touched on stage for the last 6 years because people are very excited”, admitting that it could be “dangerous”. However, she put these incidents into perspective: “We know that it is proof of love and that they are just trying to offer us something.”
