Michel Sardou has decided to retire from the Music scene. His latest tour has been recorded and will be broadcast this Friday evening on M6. Months after the end of his tour, the singer reveals the real reason for his departure from the stage.
The end of an era. A few weeks ago, Sylvie Vartan sang for the last time in front of her audience at the Dôme de Paris. “I don’t have the same energy because I was always on the move“, she confided, without shame: “It’s not a question of desire. I feel like I’ve been to all the shows“. After 60 years of career, she decided to take a well-deserved retirement. Earlier in 2024, it was Michel Sardou who made a final tour throughout France. This Friday, December 13, the M6 channel is broadcasting the recording of these concerts, filmed last March, on the stage of La Défense Arena in Paris. During the broadcast of this concert event on M6, Michel Sardou returned to the reasons for his retirement. “I no longer have the same voice”he explains to Nathalie Renoux in 12.45. “My ranges are very high in my songs, that’s the problem. It’s not saying that I don’t like performing anymore or that I don’t like singing anymore..
