Booba accuses all French rap of fraudulent sales

The figures for the first 3 days have also been released: 23,328 sales for the album, including 12,645 physical copies.. In a tweet, Booba included a message conversation in which we can read that these physical sales would be inflated via a fairly ingenious method: a €40 pre-order pack which contained the CD and a concert ticket for the album's listening party.

In his tweet, Booba writes: “for those who don't want to understand how things work in this game of cowards and impostors. And don't say I'm jealous, tonight at midnight I'm turning off the Damso, Ninha Nisko and Gazoil album at the same time”. We don't know if he was talking about the release of his song “Muay Thai”, or rather if he is preparing to release other files on the methods practiced by the rappers he cites in his tweet.

What is certain is that a little earlier in the week, he had directly accused Gims and his label of fraud around the figures for his new project “Le Nord remembers”, by highlighting the fact that his album was listened to as much in the second and third weeks as in the first week, which never happens in the industry. In addition, the disc would have been sold more in the 11th week than in its 4th week of operation.
