“Wrapped”, “recap” or “replay”… Streaming platforms are unveiling their retrospective of musical listening at the end of the year. French rappers still dominate the charts on Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.
“And what did you listen to this year?” At the end of the year, everyone discovers their little musical obsessions. Spotify thus unveils its “wrapped”, created 10 years ago, a detailed retrospective of listenings, which allows you to know which artists and songs we listened to the most throughout the year.
The streaming platform also draws a snapshot of what we listened to in France in 2024. Deezer and Apple Music also have their rankings, called “Récap'” for the first and “Replay” for the second.
It appears, for streams in France, that we listen to a lot of French music there. According to Spotify’s top 10, the most listened to artists this year in France are Jul, Werenoi, Ninho, PLK, Tiakola, Gazo, SDM, Gims, Dadju and Damso.
On Deezer, the ranking also places Jul at the top, followed by Ninho, PLK, Gazo, Werenoi Tiakola, Gims, Dadju, SCH.
