“Coke Evenings” did not enchant Luce Dufault

Light Dufault was on the show It’s a good end to the week and it was during his presence that she made a confidence that was astonishing to say the least. Returning to his very popular song Scotch nightswhich also helped propel her career, she revealed a special story.

The song wasn’t supposed to have that title. The one initially chosen was a little more intense, and the singer would not have been entirely comfortable with the original concept!

“It’s true that the title at the start wasn’t that pantoute and that it was you who made him change?”, wanted to know co-host Julie Bélanger.

“I wasn’t the one who made him change. But, at the start, I think Christian Mistral understood that with his initial title, I might have done something like: Oh, not sure it looks like me. It was the Coke nights (…) Then it wasn’t my drug of choice (…) I didn’t have the means anywaythen it didn’t tempt me pantoute (…) I didn’t have the money to drink scotch at the time either!”, reveals the excellent Luce Dufault.
