Throughout your early childhood, she was really very, very close to me… We shared so many moments,” he began by declaring , remembering the good memories spent with his mother. “I have his laughter resonating within me. But since the death of Françoise Hardy, Thomas Dutronc has heard those around him say a phrase, benevolent and supposed to console him, that he no longer wants to hear: “All this means that when we say: ‘She’s still here,’ ‘You can still talk to him,’ that’s not true,” he says. “Unfortunately, she is no longer here.
