The arrival of her son obviously influenced the artist's music: in certain pieces of her latest album, she addresses him. “At the time of writing these songs, I didn't know him yet, to be completely honest (she smiles). Through these songs, I wanted to tell my story. When I was little, I loved asking questions about what life was like before I was born, going and looking at photos… This record is a bit like that in music. It's an angle that allows me to experience my motherhood without making a watered-down album, 'cucu la praline'. I didn't want to fall into sentimentality“, she told us in a long interview.

I obviously had a moment where I found it very difficult to manage my emotions because I was both the happiest woman in the world and at the same time, I had a fairly inexplicable form of sadness.“, she begins. A situation that is far from easy to manage for the young mother, who wants to send a message to all women.

“JI also found it difficult because… Even if the word is freed up around all this, we talk about it a lot more and we are supported from a medical point of view, but there is always this guilt to feel this sadness at that time in his life. We're just supposed to be nothing but happiness and smiles and instantly fall in love with our offspring. The reality is that this isn't the case for everyone and that's OK.“, she adds.

But again, I have a very fantasized vision of life on tour with a baby, I don't really know what the reality of it is. What's most important to me is that he's happy, so I'll give it a try and see if it's just pretty pictures of Paul McCartney and his family or if it's hell to live in, I will find a solution to make it okay because it can be a little overwhelming to wake up every morning in a new city, but it can also be exciting and joyful. We're still getting to know each other so we'll see“, she confided.
