When we approached Marc Hervieux about his recent move, the singer heaved a deep sigh, looked down and said: “Finally, it’s done! I worked hard.” Asked about the reason for this move, Marc Hervieux simply confides that it is essentially for a practical reason that he chose to sell his home in Morin-Heights to settle in the northern crown of the suburbs of the metropolis. “I wanted to get closer to my youngest’s CEGEP. She is enrolled at Sainte-Thérèse (at Collège Lionel-Groulx). So we wanted to be closer.” This move had to be done quickly, says the singer. “The buyers wanted to occupy the house 16 days after the transaction. Imagine emptying out a house in such a short time and finding somewhere else to live. It was something! Additionally, the day after the move, I had to leave for Italy for work. It was incredible.” For the moment, Marc Hervieux will live in his new home with two of his daughters, aged 18 and 20. “The eldest lives with her boyfriend in their house.”
