The 27-year-old BLACKPINK star revealed that she is preparing to release her highly anticipated debut solo studio album, Alter Egoon February 28.

As part of this announcement, Lisa released a three-minute video on Loudin which she plays five different characters representing facets of her personality. Alter Ego will contain the songs Rockstar, New Woman with Rosalía and Moonlit Floorwhich takes up the classic Kiss Me de Sixpence None The Richer.

In an interview with Billboard earlier this month, the Thai singer and rapper – who has been part of South Korean group BLACKPINK since 2016 – admitted that she was “nervous” about embarking on a new adventure without his usual stage colleagues.

“At first I was scared and nervous because I never really came here to do my own thing,” she said. “And now I’m having fun. When [mes chansons] came out, the reaction from fans healed me. It’s like I’m like, ‘Oh, my God! Yes, I did a good job.'”

When asked about the music she’s been listening to lately, the singer explained that she’s too focused on her next album to listen to other music. “It’s so embarrassing to say this, but I’m listening to my album,” she confessed. “I’m trying to figure it out, the song list and everything else, what I can change about it… It’s all there. It’s all there.”

The singer of Pink Venom is quite satisfied with the result. She added: “I think they’re going to be shocked at how capable I am [de] do so many things.

Lisa will also make her acting debut in season 3 of the series The White Lotusin 2025, on the Max platform. “It was my first time, I didn’t know if I would be able to get into the role,” Lisa said.
