It has now been more than twenty years since Marie-Mai, Marie-Élaine Thibert, Suzie Villeneuve, François Babin, Jean-François Bastien, Maritza Bossé-Pelchat, Martin Rouette, Émily Bégin, Dave Bourgeois, Élyse Robineault, Pascal Nguyen Deschênes, Wilfred LeBouthillier and Annie Villeneuve enjoyed enormous success in the first season of Star Academy on TVA airwaves.
