(ETX Daily Up) – D-3 before the official start of the summer season. If sunny days are still desired in certain places around the globe, the predictions are open to find out what the next hit of the summer will be. Here are some of this year’s favorites.

Like every year, Spotify draws up the list of songs that music lovers will certainly listen to on repeat during their vacation. If we are to believe the world leader in music streaming, many of them will favor pop titles during the summer period.

Starting with “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. This song is not about caffeine as its title might suggest, but rather about the intoxication of love. It is currently at number two on the Billboard Global 200 music chart for the third consecutive week. A real success for the former Disney child star.

Other female artists appear in Spotify’s forecast ranking, including Clairo with “Sexy for Someone”, Billie Eilish with “Birds of a Feather”, and Tinashe with “Nasty”. Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift is also mentioned with “I Can Do it with a Broken Heart”. This electro-pop track appears on his acclaimed eleventh album, “The Tortured Poets Department”. It went viral on social networks upon its release, thanks to the many female fans of the American singer who saw it as a criticism of our productivist culture.

If pop is particularly suited to summer, music lovers will dance to the sound of a wide variety of genres including hip-hop, country, and even R&B. This stylistic diversity is felt in the predictions of the Swedish giant which include “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” by Luke Combs and “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” by Dasha as well as “Stumblin’ In” by CYRIL. But we do however observe a majority of electro titles, like “I Don’t Wanna Wait” by David Guetta and One Republic, “She’s Gone, Dance On” by Disclosure and “Whatever” by Kygo and Ava Max.

In France, titles in the language of Molière are likely to rise to the top of the summer music charts. Let us cite for example “Imagine” by Carbonne, “Nous on sais” by Pierre Garnier, “Wayeh” by Theodort, “Boucan (feat Franglish)” by Keblack, “Mélanine” by Heuss l’Enfoiré and Werenoi, “Oh qu’elle is beautiful” by Jul and Dystinct. However, we will still have to wait to discover which song will attract the favor of the general public during the summer season, and will thus become the hit of summer 2024.
