Interviewed in the show “Sept à Huit”, Zaho de Sagazan spoke about her career, her love life but also her past. Before being broadcast on all the radios for her hits, the young woman did a very different job…
Many celebrities from music, cinema and fashion began their careers in radically different fields before tasting success. Leïla Bekhti, for example, sold clothes before being spotted by Kim Chapiron. Kendji Girac, for his part, earned his first salaries as a pruner. Ditto for Nolwenn Leroy, baker before performing at La Défense Arena.
For Zaho de Sagazan, history repeats itself. In 2023, when the album “La symphonie des éclairs” appeared on the airwaves, success was not long in coming. However, before getting to the point of singing for the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2024 with her famous cover of “Modern Love” by David Bowie, the road was long.

Invited this Sunday, October 20 on the set of the show “Sept à Huit”, Zaho de Sagazan revealed a still unknown part of her past. During her years of study in Nantes, in a business and administration management course, the young woman worked as a care assistant in an EHPAD for a year. An experience that she described as “one of the most beautiful jobs in the world because it is a job that represents goodness in its purest form. »

Zaho faces success
Since the release of her first album, the 24-year-old singer has been driving at high speed on the highway to success. Between his coronation at the Victoires de la Musique last February, his record which went platinum last April and his performance for the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games… Zaho de Sagazan is on very good momentum.
A success that she compared with her past: “Now that it’s working, I’m making a lot of money. I am applauded every day, people say thank you to me all the time. It’s a job where you are hyper-considered, even too much. When in fact, when I look at a care assistant, I say to myself: “there is no reason why I should be more considered than her.”
