Swedish supergroup The Night Flight Orchestra, comprised of members of Soilwork and Arch Enemy, have announced the release of their seventh studio album, Give Us The Moondue out January 31, 2025 via Napalm Records. Described as their most “cinematic” album to date, this new opus is in line with their retro and progressive sound, influenced by the 80s.

Give Us The Moon : an upcoming album

Founded in 2007, The Night Flight Orchestra quickly established itself on the international rock scene with its style mixing classic rock, progressive and a touch of disco. The group has been nominated three times for the Grammis, Sweden’s equivalent of the Grammy Awards, and has racked up millions of streams with songs like Domino, Lovers In The Rain or even This Time.

As we approach the release of Give Us The Moonthe group shared their enthusiasm through a fun press release: “We’re shaking with excitement, we’re hanging from chandeliers, we’re doing butterfly swims in sparkling wine… That’s how excited we are. Now give us the moon, will you?”

Fans of the band can expect a diverse album, combining epic tracks, catchy ballads and polished production, true to the 70s and 80s aesthetic that the band loves.

A European tour in 2025

In addition to the album release, The Night Flight Orchestra will embark on a European tour titled Moon Over Europe 2025. The group will perform in several cities starting in January 2025, with stops planned in (January 31) and (February 2). Tickets are already on sale, and fans are encouraged to purchase them quickly so as not to miss the opportunity to see the band live.
