A passion that oscillates between sport and rap This is the story of a passion that Yoann Viala-Sahnoun is currently experiencing, a sports coach who runs a training room in a shopping complex on the southern ring road of Alès. A passion that he expresses with rap, this contemporary language of youth, and of which Alesia, his latest video recorded in Alès, created a buzz on streaming platforms. During a meeting, he explains: “at the age of 16, rap seduced me as a listener, and, at 18, I began to enter the studio doors. At the beginning, I used texts already composed by other rappers, then I wrote my own lyrics It is true that my big crush was, at the start, for the character played by Mister You, an atypical and provocative guy. For the texts written by Yoann, it is on the simplicity of the words used that he focuses “so as not to close myself off from the public, in order to remain open to all musical genres.” He stages situations from his experiences, with lots of sunny sounds.“I don’t want to plumb the abyss. I am very open and joyful, focused on sharing. This is my true personality.” All of this contributes to a project for the future which should consist of the opening of a certified studio, in Alès, to allow regional artists to perform there and record their creations directly.
