The Cross Battles stage is wreaking havoc in the “The Voice” competition. Last Saturday, MIKA, Zazie, Bigflo & Oli and Vianney experienced many cold sweats with this new unpredictable event, because no one knows in advance who will face who… Indeed, Nikos Aliagas randomly designated a coach who had to choose among his talents of the one who performs on stage, before selecting the team to challenge. It is up to the selected coach to send a candidate into the arena! In this little game between strategy and chance, no one managed to gain the upper hand: each coach managed to qualify two talents for the rest of the adventure. Clément Serra, Rhéa, Stolt, Gwendal White were unfortunately eliminated, just like Orange… even if the latter admits to being ” relieved to leave » ! While Iris, Alphonse, Marco Léna and Hamid Khattab won their ticket for the Super Cross Battles, which will mark the great return of Jenifer in “The Voice”, TF1 has just issued new rules for the semi-final. Already filmed at the Studio du Lendit, the semi-final of this season 13 of “The Voice” will be revealed on May 18 to TF1 viewers. You will have understood, with this system, it is impossible for aficionados of the program to vote live for their favorite candidates as has been done in other editions: it is the people from the public present on set who will determine the outcome of this last stage before the final. Except that new data could well change the results. For the first time since the creation of “The Voice” in 2012, a new jury will arrive at this stage of the competition! These exceptional guests will be none other than former leading faces of TV talent, talents whose history is intimately linked to that of the show. These are Jérémy Frérot, who tried his luck with his group Fréro Delavega in season 3, Anne Sila, finalist of season 4 and winner of “The Voice All-Stars”, Abi Bernadoth, winner of season 9 features the musical “Molière” and Aurélien Vivos, the current holder of the title of most beautiful voice in France.

What power will this unprecedented jury hold? It’s simple: the objective of the semi-final of “The Voice” is to qualify a team talent. During the voting phase, the public will represent 80% of the votes while this VIP quartet will have a say on 20% of the vote – in this case, each of them will be able to distribute 5% to the candidate of their choice. Their role will therefore be crucial, especially since the match is often very competitive! A new operation that will spice up the competition. Thus, Vianney, Zazie, MIKA and Bigflo & Oli will reach the tele-hook final with only one talent.
