Friday evening, Mylène Farmer inaugurated her first of three long-awaited concerts at the Stade de France, marking an important step in her “Nevermore” tour. It was not only a return for the singer after the June 2023 dates were postponed, but also a strong moment for the 80,000 fans present, impatient to reunite with their idol after the riots that shook France.

The evening began with a poignant tribute to Jean-Louis Murat, who died in May 2023, as reported The Parisian. The first notes of Regretstheir famous duet, were projected on the screens.
In a dark and mysterious atmosphereblack crows swirled on the giant screens, evoking a universe worthy of a thriller film. It was in this fascinating atmosphere that Mylène Farmer made her entrance, all smiles, at the foot of a grandiose stage, before singing her emblematic title Maybe you.
The show then gained momentum with a spectacular staging, typical of the singer. Giant screens revealing an inverted cathedral decor, a troupe of fifteen dancers and a giant crow sheltering the singer herself contributed to the impressive scenography of the evening.
Accompanied by her musicians, the latter offered electrifying performances of Optimistic me, Foreveret Tristanain a striking contrast of blue lights and apocalyptic settings.
Seal, the guest who surprised fans
The concert was also marked by more intimate momentsespecially with Dream, where Mylène Farmer asked the crowd to sing with her. This moment was extended by an unexpected duet with Seal, who took the stage to perform their hit The Words.
It was the first time that the two artists sang this title together live, a performance that fans were eagerly awaiting and which was immediately relayed on social networks. Seal, dressed all in white, greeted Mylène with a kiss and a long hug before leaving the stage to cheers.
“Disenchanted” and a dazzling finale
The dreaded rain failed to disrupt the evening. When Disenchanted sounded, one of the songs the most iconic by Mylène Farmer, the Stade de France went up in flames. “We are lucky to have a song that brings us together”she declared before inviting the crowd to sing with her.
The evening ended with a final fireworks display with Rekindle the starsmarking a conclusion in style after more than two hours of show. The fans, delighted by the performance, left the Stade de France hoping that Nevermore does not mean the end for the mysterious singer…
