While he was unable to make his mother, Françoise Hardy, who died on June 11, 2024, listen to his new pieces, Jacques Dutronc’s son feels more the lack of his mother at his side, as he relates in an interview for our Gala colleagues, published on Thursday September 26, 2024: “I would have preferred that mom listened to him, gave me her opinion on the interviews that I give… I miss her look,” he declared, in a sad smile. Moreover, the musician remembers that Françoise Hardy did not hesitate to comment on his appearance and could sometimes be very critical: “Despite her extreme objectivity on my poorly styled hair or the kilos gained, sometimes.
