The bonds between a father and his children have always been strong in the Hallyday clan. David Hallyday, eldest son of Johnny Hallyday, is himself the father of three children: Ilona, 28 years old, Emma, 26 years old, and Cameron, 19 years old. “They are no longer children, they are adults! I no longer manage them”, launched the musician on the RFM antenna. And to add: “They are great, good at their best, very empathetic. They are beautiful people”.

David Hallyday spoke particularly about his relationship with his son, Cameron, of whom he is “super close”. Born from his union with the Monegasque stylist Alexandra Pastor, the young man left the family nest and is now studying in Madrid, Spain. He actually looks a lot like Johnny! Internet users were able to see this in the clip of Blood for blood, David Hallyday’s iconic duet with his father, of which he is releasing a new version on his next album. We can see David and Cameron, embodying two generations and sharing a game of pool in a bar. This tribute opus will be released on June 21 and will be titled Requiem for a fool.

His children, his greatest success

But David Hallyday is also very proud of his daughters, the fruits of his marriage to Estelle Lefébure. The eldest, Ilona Smet, is a model and recently mother of a little boy, named Harrison. Her youngest, Emma Smet, is also a regular on the catwalk but has launched a career as an actress. Today he sees his greatest success in his children: “I think that being successful in my personal life comes first and foremost through that for me. The rest, we keep nothing“.
