The cult show Secret Story made its comeback on TF1, this Tuesday, April 24, after seven years of absence. Fifteen candidates joined the House of Secrets, in the hope of winning the biggest prize possible. But this new season raises questions. Between the absence, then the return of the historic Voice, that of Dominique Duforest, and the surprising choice of candidates, many Internet users have ever crazier theories! They were particularly surprised that several participants are content creators on TikTok, sometimes bringing together hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Some even seemed to know each other before the show! So many reasons which make viewers believe that it would be a “false casting”…
Among the candidates, Maxime, 23, is particularly scrutinized. His secret: I am an international magic champion. It was enough for Secret Story fans to investigate on their own and learn that the participant must perform in a show on May 24! That is well before the date of the final, which will take place in mid-June. For some, it means nothing: if he is still in competition at that time, the show will be postponed. For others, it is new proof that these candidates are not the real ones and that the casting will have to change.
