Several artists testified on social networks about their friendship for Kendji Girac, after the gunshot wound suffered by the singer on Monday.
Emotions are high, the day after the gunshot wound of Kendji Girac, in the Landes. His comrades, the artists Slimane, Claudio Capéo and Rayane Bensetti, paid tribute to him on social networks.
“I think very much of you and your family, my Kendji,” Slimane published on Instagram. “I think very much of you my Kendji”, wrote Claudio Capéo “A big thought for my brother Kendji. I have been thinking about it since this morning”, published Rayane Bensetti.

Slimane shared on his album with Vitaa, VersuS – Chapter IIthe title Do like this with Kendji Girac.
Tony Cavuoto, candidate for the seventh season of The Voice Kids, of which Kendji Girac was a juror from 2020 to 2022, also testified on BFMTV. “I give him my support, because it’s still very, very serious, what’s happening to him. And I hope to see him again on stage very soon.”
Kendji Girac was shot and injured during the night from Sunday to Monday at the Traveler reception area in Biscarosse, in circumstances which remain quite unclear for the moment.
Although his life is no longer in danger, the 27-year-old singer is still hospitalized at the Haut-Lévêque hospital center in Pessac.
