This is what the Irish actress who played “The Lady of the Pigeons” in 'Home Alone 2' looks like today

The famous Irish actress Brenda Fricker who played the “Dove Lady” in 'Home Alone 2' reappears after several years of announcing her retirement from acting.

In the middle of an interview, the actress shared unpublished details of her personal life, including the difficulties she has faced throughout her career and her personal life.

“I lead a very quiet life, very under the radar, I drive a small car, I have a country house, that's all. I talk a lot to the wall, to the dog, I write poetry, I read books and I watch television. Nothing different of what everyone else does, except that being alone so much can make you talk to the wall a little more than most people,” she shared.

Fricker addressed the real reasons why he left acting, admitting that he sometimes struggles with loneliness and depression.

“Just yesterday I visited the doctor, who told me: 'We're going to give you stronger antidepressants.' I'm kind of a recluse. Choosing to stay home is one thing, but being told to do so makes me want to go out,” he said.

In 2012, according to the Daily Mail, the actress confessed that she was broken, which is why she had attempted suicide on multiple occasions.

“I lived off my savings while they lasted, but now I'm completely broke. But as long as I have a roof over my head and I feed the dog and I feed myself, I'm perfectly happy,” the actress said.

Despite the situations she has faced, the actress has found solace in writing, reading and the company of her pet.

It should be remembered that “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” is the sequel to the successful Christmas movie “Home Alone.”

In the film, Kevin McCallister, the protagonist, boards the wrong plane and ends up alone in New York City during Christmas.
