My Girl (1991) on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on February 25 in the USA from Sony Pictures

My Girl (1991) tells the story of Vada Sultenfuss, an 11-year-old girl living in Madison, Pennsylvania, during the summer of 1972. From her Victorian home, Vada sets out to discover the world. And she’s not alone. She shares this quest with Thomas J. Sennett, a singular boy, with whom she forms an inseparable duo. Their friendship, an inestimable treasure, accompanies them through the joys and sorrows of childhood, from laughter to arguments, from games to confidences. Together, they explore the wonders of summer, the secrets of the forest and the mysteries of mourning and first emotions.

In the USA, Sony Pictures has just made official the upcoming release of My Girl (1991) on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. A release expected on February 25 and which will benefit from a version of the film entirely restored in 4K from a new scan of the original 35mm negatives. The film will be presented in a Dolby Vision color grading approved by cinematographer Paul Elliott.

The sound section will be composed of an original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 version.
