The staff of the French Rugby 7s team has just announced the group selected to compete in the Sevens Series tournament in Perth, the weekend of January 24 to 26. Among the players selected are two UBB players. We find our opening half, Mateo Garciaand our young third line Espoir, Romain Gardrat. The group will be led by our former three-quarter center, Paulin Riva.

If this starts to become a habit for the third row, who took part in the Elche Tournament in pre-season as well as the first stage in Dubai, before missing Cape Town due to injury, it will be a first for our half opening, who will discover the World circuit with the French rugby sevens team. The French are in a group with Spain, Great Britain and Ireland. After the first two stages our players are 3th behind Fiji and Spain. Great Britain is 8th and Ireland 12th and last.
