In 1960s New York, the complete stranger from whom the biopic takes its name is called Bob Dylan. Equipped with his guitar and his talent, the 19-year-old American singer made a meteoric rise, despite controversial choices. At the end of the screening, the spectators are won over. “I didn’t know his story at all, it wasn’t at all the style of music I listened to and in fact I like it”explains a spectator.
Alongside actress Elle Fanning, Timothée Chalamet himself performs Bob Dylan’s key songs. Lovers of his music will be able to discover or rediscover the life of rock Rimbaud from January 29.
