The mayor transformed into a gendarmerie

The filming ofa Bear in the Jura took place mainly in Rousses and Bois d'Amont, as well as in other emblematic places of the department, such as the waterfalls of BillaudeVaudioux and Morbier. Between the castings and below the filmingthe film widely mobilized and sometimes hit the headlines last winter. L'old town hall de Bois-d’Amont had thus been transformed into a police station for the needs of the film, the Super U of Champagnole had been specially decorated to shoot a scene in theChristmas atmosphere and the absence of snowfall had even forced production to use artificial snow.
