The Batman universe has always been a source of inspiration for fans and artists around the world. Recently, a Reddit member, known under the pseudonym vonfanaustin, decided to reinvent the iconic characters from the Batman license using artificial intelligence. The result is quite astonishing and we almost have the impression that the characters have come out of the Steampunk universe or a style mixing baroque and rococo. You’ll love it or you’ll hate it!
Batman: a timeless franchise
The images that byfanaustin created from l’IAshow us a new vision of the heroes and villains of Gotham City. Between the masks and the gilding, we still recognize Batman, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Batman, The Joker, The Penguin and many more. Each character has been metamorphosed in order to have harmony between them with a very particular style, between baroque, rococo et steampunk.
Of course this was possible thanks to the prompts that the Reddit membervonfanaustin, created so that AI can generate these never-before-seen images. In any case, we can recognize the talent shown by this user to be able to revisit these emblematic characters.

This is not the first time that the Batman and DC Comics franchise has been taken up to create new images using artificial intelligence. For example, we were treated to a version of these characters which was intended to resemble angels and in the program we were able to discover a new version of Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrown, Cyborg and many more. The result is quite stunning if you haven’t already seen it.
