Although Cobra Kai is reaching the end of its run with its sixth season, there are still big plans ahead that will continue to expand the universe of Karate Kid. The first step will be Karate Kid: Legendsa new film that will bring together for the first time Daniel LaRusso y Mr. Heplayed by Ralph Macchio y Jackie Chan. With a premiere scheduled for the middle of next year, Sony Pictures presented an exciting preview, stoking the expectations of fans of the iconic martial arts franchise.
The video presents the Li Fong of Beng Wangas the new young face of the saga, who moves to the United States to participate in a karate competition. The trailer also confirms that the Sr. He of Chan which made its appearance in reboot from 2010 is the mentor of Li and will go to LaRusso of Macchio to train him for the competition.
Karate Kid: Legends will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World), from a script written by Rob Lieber (Los Goldberg). Other cast members are Joshua Jackson, Ming-Na Wen, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Sadie Stanley, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff y Jennifer-Lyn Christie.
