The Karate Kid universe expands with a new delivery which promises to excite martial arts fans. The long-awaited movie Karate Kid: Legends, has released its first official trailer.
This sequel to the 2010 film starring Jaden Smith features the exciting return of Jackie Chan like the wise Mr. Han and introduces Ralph Macchio as the iconic Daniel LaRusso, protagonist of the original trilogy.
What is ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ about?
The plot of Karate Kid: Legends centers on Li Fong (Ben Wang), a young kung fu prodigy who, after a family tragedy, is forced to move from Beijing to New York with his mother.
In your new life, Li faces the challenge of adapting to a completely different culture while trying to overcome his past. However, conflict soon arrives when a close friend needs help and Li decides to participate in a karate competition.
Despite his kung fu skills, Li realizes that it will take much more to succeed. It is here where the Sr. He (Jackie Chan) turns to the legendary Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) to help him merge both combat styles into a unique technique that will be key in the final confrontation.

The film has an exceptional cast that combines iconic figures from the franchise with new talents:
