this wink hidden by Ryan Reynolds in the 3 opuses of the trilogy

After the colossal success of Deadpool & Wolverine hitting theaters this summer, there's little chance that Marvel Studios will drop its lucrative Red and Black Mercenary any time soon. Ryan Reynolds having teased a new project for the superhero, the actor has not yet said his last word in the costume of Wade Wilson. Perhaps he will even have the opportunity to reiterate this wink that appeared in each film of his trilogy !

Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of this Thanksgiving movie, proof

Ryan Reynolds is one of Hollywood's many darlings. The 48-year-old star, married to actress Blake Lively (Gossip Girl), knew how to forge an image of a cool guy in front of and behind the cameras. Whether on social networks, on screen, in interviews or in his life as a couple, the Canadian enjoys great popularity. The projects in which he is involved, like the saga Deadpoolallow cinemas to fill their theaters, and studios to fill their pockets. While being profitable, the Marvel trilogy is also a moment fun for Ryan Reynolds, very involved in his role as Wade Wilson. He does not hesitate to hide winks for his fans, including one in particular, who appears in each opus.

In the three Deadpoolwe find in fact a funny reference to a Thanksgiving moviean American celebration incorporating the ancient European concept of a harvest festival. It is aboutA ticket for two (Planes, Trains and Automobiles in original version), a film that Ryan Reynolds loves so much thathe found a way to reference it on screen three times! It's a bedside film for the star, who confided during an interview with Ben Mankiewicz (for Turner Classic ) his admiration for the interpretation of John Candy as Del Griffith, a character who hides under happy and annoying exteriors a lot of loneliness and suffering…Doesn't that remind you of anything?

What John Candy does in A ticket for twois that he gives us a glimpse of his vulnerability and humanity that we don't see in many of his other films. I'm talking about these unusual coping mechanisms that we use to avoid life's hardest truthsor the emotional pains that we go through, and which act as a sort of ointment to help us move forward. And in this film, this mechanism makes him an incredibly clingy character, at least in Steve Martin's eyes, an annoying clown who keeps showing up everywhere he goes. But we understand why he does that, and I find that it’s incredibly moving and heartbreaking.

Planes, Trains [and Automobiles
