While the comedy “La Très Très Grande Classe” was broadcast last night on TF1, we offer you a quiz on these teachers who are… real dunces!

There have been lots of cinema teachers! Many who we would have liked to have as a teacher like the unforgettable Mr Keating (Robin Williams) in The Circle of Dead Poets or the brilliant Louanne Johnson (Michelle Pfieffer) in Rebel Spirits, and others… not that much. And it is to these rather dunce professors that we are dedicating a quiz today on the occasion of the broadcast of La Très very Grande Classe on TF1.

In this crazy comedy released in 2022, Melha Bedia (who mentioned the film on our microphone) slips into the skin of a young French teacher martyred by her students. The day she learns that she has the mutation of her dreams, Sofia launches into an explosive goodbye by telling her students the truth. Problem: his departure is finally frozen, and the teenagers are determined to make him pay for his words.

Lies at the academy, low blows to her new competitor with an impeccable CV, a seduction campaign… The young woman is ready to do anything to get her exit certificate and made us want to make you play with other unusual teachers from the movie theater.

Did you know ?

Frédéric Quiring wanted to set the scene for his third film in a college. The director is in fact a big fan of all the teen movies that take place in schools, such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off by John Hughes, the Sex Education series or even Grease. He says :

Afterwards, I thought about the topic I wanted to address. Comedy being a powerful vector for dealing with social issues, it seemed to me that the setting of La Très very Grande Classe was conducive to talking about education and illiteracy.
