After announcing the release of a film in the cinema, the Swedish hard rock group Ghost reveals the first images in a trailer available via the player below:

Titled Rite Here Rite Now, this film will be released in French cinemas on June 23. All the cinemas in which the film will be available are indicated on the dedicated site. The film will mix concert images captured during the two dates concluding the Re-Imperatour, given in September 2023 in Los Angeles and images retelling the story of the web series broadcast on the YouTube channel of Ghost. Tobias Forge, leader of the group, and Alex Ross Perry were responsible for the production.

Also announced is the release of Rite Here Rite Now: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which includes the tracks played in the film. It includes titles from the entire work of the Swedes, including the now classic “Mary on a Cross”, a gold-certified single in France. Before its publication, scheduled for July 26, discover “Absolution”, which is an extract.

“More than ten years ago, when Ghost was signed by Loma Vista, Tom Whalley (the CEO of the label) asked me about the history of the band” explains Tobias Forge in a press release. “He believed it was essential to tell a story in order to engage new fans. I replied that given that we were a new group, and moreover anonymous, there was nothing really exciting to talk about. Not yet anyway. But I told him that if he really wanted a story, I could make one up. This film is the fruit of that conversation.”
