They liked

Fred-71 (5/5): “The motto of this brilliant comedy can be summed up in a few words: “Despite the unforeseen difficulties of family life, you have to be content with your fate!” “. Formidably illustrated by the talented interpretation of the protagonists and seen in preview at the Mégarama Châlonnais, these actors offered us 1h30 of hilarious entertainment.

Nicolas Métrich (4/5): “André Dussollier is so funny and so endearing in this role of a former soldier, a man of principle, who sees his life and all its points of reference shaken up when he learns of his wife’s infidelity more than 40 years ago. I loved this film, a feminist one at that, which behind its comedy aspect, is very tender. It is an ode to love, true love… the one that survives trials.

jmjbest2 (4/5): “Among the French comedies seen over the past year, I put this one very ahead. Finally, we’re not just smiling in front of two BA sketches. It’s boulevard theater if you like, so obviously over-played, so what? And Dussollier is HUGE!

HGLyon (3/5): “Another amazing duo reunited on screen in a hilarious vaudeville. André Dussollier, brilliant in general, psychorigid in retirement, and Sabine Azéma, all mischievous. We laugh out loud throughout the film even if the psychology of the characters is very caricatured.
