Tom Cruise returning to Paris in the highly anticipated Dead Reckoning sequel?

While we await the return of Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 8the actor was seen filming in Paris, and it’s certainly no coincidence.

About a month ago, fans filmed Tom Cruise doing his little marathon in the streets of London, quite likely synonymous with a filming for Mission Impossible 8 (yes, we are starting to get to know this little ride well). And while a new actress has joined the cast of Mission Impossible 8, the hype for the spy film has thus regained importance, especially as other news on the continuation of the franchise has appeared in the meantime.

We know in particular that the casting of Mission Impossible 8 has grown again, but now there is an even more intriguing element. Indeed, Tom Cruise was seen in Paris as part of a shoot. Again, this is probably not a coincidence.

He’s coming back to ride with us!

Mission Impossible 8 in the air of Paris?

As in London, several fans were able to film Tom Cruise filming a few scenes in the streets of Paris. We could notably see it around the Arc de Triomphe, on the Bir-Hakeim bridge and near the Eiffel Tower. According to the different videos and photos relayed on X (ex Twitter), the actor would have mainly performed scenes on a motorbike, including one where we even see him displaying a white flag on the back of his bike.

We obviously ask ourselves a lot of questions when we see these images: are these new scenes for Mission Impossible 8or will they be used as flashbacks of the sixth opus, fallout, which also took place in Paris? There is room for doubt, especially since this sixth episode also included several sequences in London, which further strengthens the link between the two shoots.

In any case, we know that the presence of Tom Cruise in Paris promises good chase scenes in the streets of the capital, as well as quite a few shots of our various monuments (the Americans definitely cannot prevent it). Mission: Impossible 8which was normally planned for this year, should now arrive here on May 21, 2025, and there is therefore a good chance that we will see Paris again in the saga, in any case it seems to be off to a good start.
