The documentary about the Everest ascent by Inoxtag, a famous YouTuber, is released in theaters for two days. The reservations are so numerous that they have caused online reservation sites to crash.

It’s the cinema event of the week. The release of “Kaizen, a year to climb Everest”, scheduled for only two days in cinemas, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 September, is causing cinema ticket reservations to explode. At Pathé Labège, for example, 300 tickets were quickly bought when it went on sale two weeks ago. At Pathé Wilson, in Toulouse, the screenings are already sold out on Friday.

Tickets to attend the preview were so successful that internet platforms experienced technical problems. “You have caused the cinema platform sites to crash, we are trying to resolve the problem as quickly as possible,” rejoiced the influencer, who has 8 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Almost all the theaters are sold out. So… we are reopening theaters!”

His documentary is highly anticipated by his fans. Neither a mountaineer nor an athlete, Inoxtag set himself the challenge a year ago of climbing Everest. And he filmed his entire preparation and life change to achieve this dream for a year.

After the two days of screening, the film will be posted on his YouTube channel and accessible for free. But his community seems eager to discover his exploits on the big screen. Especially since his rise had been the subject of a great mystery.

The announcement of his departure for Nepal on April 6 had provoked strong reactions from his fans, who had been encouraging him since his ascent of Mont Blanc last year. On May 26, he announced his return from the Himalayas, according to him being one of the 500 climbers who have attempted to climb Everest.
