Maleficent, first doll in a new series from Mattel Creations
We’re celebrating 100 years of the firm with the big ears in 2023 and this anniversary doesn’t happen without the intervention of the most diabolical villains of disney. Maleficent, an iconic character from the Disney catalog, is a gloriously villainous introduction to this new series of products created by Mattel Creations. The doll, created by the artist Carina Bilzwill cost 150.00 dollars (about 136 euros) and will be available on Mattel Creations April 28 (the site delivers to Europe).
Since the cult film of 1959, The Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent has become one of fans’ most beloved villains. This special collector’s edition sets out to show her dramatic change from evil fairy to fearless fire-breathing dragon. With majestic dragon wings and green flames engulfing her scaly black and purple dress, Maleficent is pictured in full transformation and Prince Phillipe would do well to heed her warning. Maleficent will not fall without a tough fight.
