We are sorry for yesterday’s somewhat tricky clue, but instead of visiting Pedro Acosta, we went to his Cartagena circuit, to witness a very nice initiative by Johann Zarco.
Although returning from Japan last Sunday after a very busy schedule, the holder of the LCR Honda and spearhead of Honda had in fact rented the Cartagena track for two days to keep the very essence of his profession, his sensations of piloting, in the middle of an ocean of occupations inherent to his status as a MotoGP rider.
But far from enjoying this privilege alone,
Johann Zarco did not hesitate to invite around fifteen French-speaking drivers, of all levels, to give them the benefit of the track and, for the youngest among them, his advice.
So, Barry Baltus, Lucas Mahias, Diego Poncet, Ludovic Rizza, Enzo Bellon, David Da Costa, Gabriel Pio, Rémy Sanjuan and Antoine Nativi, non-exhaustive list, were able to ride under the Spanish sun for two days, to complete their winter training in a very friendly atmosphere.
You don’t know the half of it? We will present them to you, one by one, during this winter, all enhanced with a few surprises…
Of course, Johann Zarcowho got away with some good things with Barry Baltus in 1000cc but also spent a very long time with the less experienced to share his advice and experience with them, will explain to you the why of this operation, and much more!
In short, in a nutshell, give us time to get home and stay tuned for upcoming interviews… But Hats off to Johann Zarco!
