MotoGP. The Barcelona Grand Prix will be one of solidarity after the floods in Spain

Part of the profits generated by the Barcelona Grand Prix, the last round of the season, will be donated to the Valencia Relief Fund. Beyond the epilogue, which will crown the Italian Francesco Bagnaia or the Spaniard Jorge Martin, the weekend of November 15 to 17 will be placed under the sign of solidarity after the floods in Spain.

The Barcelona Grand Prix, which will be held from Friday November 15 to Sunday November 17, will donate part of its profits to the Valencia Relief Fund. The final of the 2024 season should have been held in this same city, but the catastrophic floods which affected the region led Dorna Sports, organizer of the championship, to relocate the epilogue to Catalonia, also affected by bad weather but able to host the event.

Auction

The suspense for the world title remains intact: Francesco Bagnaia won a lively Malaysian Grand Prix, marked by a violent fall at the start then an exceptional fight between the two title contenders. The Italian won ahead of Jorge Martin to come back to 24 points behind the Spaniard, with one Grand Prix remaining at the end of the season.

But the lead will not only be with the athlete, and it is a united MotoGP world that will come together in Catalonia. Three auctions will take place over the weekend: two on site and one online. In particular, the drivers will take the stage to auction off items donated by the entire paddock.
