HYBE headquarters breach: Intruder spent 3 days roaming building after slipping past security | K-pop Movie News

Surveillance footage has unveiled a shocking security lapse at MOVES‘s headquarters, where a man in his 40s managed to infiltrate and remain undetected within the building for an astonishing three days. The footage reveals that the individual first walked through the main entrance at approximately 4 PM, where he settled in the lobby for about an hour. From there, he exploited a weak spot in the security setup: using the basement parking elevator, which bypasses the usual security protocols, he gained unauthorized access to the building.
Once inside, the man took advantage of the lax security measures to bypass a glass security door and proceeded to explore various floors, from the 3rd to the 18th. Over the course of two nights and three days, he roamed freely throughout the premises. It wasn’t until September 8th that his presence was detected by a HYBE employee who saw him wandering on the 5th floor. The employee immediately reported the suspicious activity to the police, who arrived and arrested the man around 6:30 PM that same day.
During the arrest, it was revealed that the man, who is currently charged with unlawful entry, was unemployed and had not committed theft or carried any weapons. He had made use of the cafeteria designated for HYBE trainees and employees for his meals and sleeping arrangements.
According to a police representative, “The man is giving incoherent statements, and we are investigating his motives based on the available evidence”, as reported by Kbizoom. The investigation is ongoing to uncover his motives. In response, HYBE has confirmed the breach, stating, “We confirmed the illegal entry and reported it to the police. We are fully cooperating with the investigation to ensure strict punishment is carried out”.
