Hisham Abu Sherwan, the interim coach of Raja Sports Club, considered the latter’s victory over Nahdet Zemamra Athletic Club with a clean double as confirmation of the team’s awakening, indicating that the “Eagles” are ready to face any opponent in the Champions League.
Abu Sherwan said in a press statement after the end of the match, which falls within the fifth round of the professional tournament: “The match was somewhat difficult in the first half, but at the beginning of the second round, we were able to score the first goal, which made the task easier for us.”
“We scored the second goal, which was the killer goal for us. Three very important points, and thank God because we succeeded in winning during the past three matches, and this confirms the awakening of the hero, which is Raja Athletic.” The same speaker adds.
He continued: “An important victory will make us prepare well for the upcoming events, and in the best possible way, God willing, because the team’s fans are waiting for us to achieve titles, and we hope that we will be up to the responsibility and make our supporters happy, who deserve the best.”
Speaking about the draw for the Champions League group stage, which will take place tomorrow, Monday, Abu Sherwan commented: “We are ready for any opponent, and we expect all matches to be difficult, and all the clubs that qualify for the group stage are strong teams and have a history in this competition, but Raja also has titles and everyone will be afraid of us, provided that we are prepared and play with all seriousness.”
