West Ham United take on Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup at the London Stadium tonight.

The Carabao Cup second round clash at the London Stadium should see Julen Lopetegui hand numerous players their first competitive starts for West Ham.

The West Ham boss has a really talented squad at his disposal, and I’m expecting to see a lot of new faces start the game tonight.

Peter Bankes was announced as the referee for tonight’s Carabao Cup game, in bad news for the Hammers, considering his history of shocking mistakes when officiating our matches.

However, the West Ham fans are still very excited, with the prospect of seeing many of our new signings start the game against the Cherries.

And it seems like a highly talented teenager could be selected in Lopetegui’s starting lineup as well…

The game kicks of tonight at 7:45pm, and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.

So even those who aren’t inside the stadium will get to see some of our new faces start the game.

Luis Guilherme joined the Hammers in the summer from Palmeiras for around £25 million.

The Palmeiras absolutely raved about Luis Guilherme when he joined West Ham two months ago.

However, the 18-year-old is not only still yet to start a competitive game for West Ham, but he hasn’t been included in either of the two Premier League squads either.

That could all be set to change tonight though.

He took to his official X account, and dropped a very big hint indeed…

I read that as a big hint that he’ll be in the Hammers starting lineup tonight.

I think that Luis Guilherme has the talent needed to become a big star with West Ham, and I really hope that he’s given an opportunity to show us what he’s capable of in the Carabao Cup clash with Bournemouth tonight.

Lopetegui will be desperate to guide us through to the next round of the competition, but getting minutes into the fringe players’ legs will be crucial as well.

I cannot wait to watch this one tonight, COYI X
