After mixed weather on Monday, things will be gentler in northern Hesse. The forecast promises mild and dry weather until the end of the month.
Kassel – Milder weather is emerging in northern Hesse after the last rains on Monday (October 14th). Forecasts say it will remain mostly dry and the autumnal weather is expected to last until the end of the month. According to meteorologist Dominik Jung from wetter.net, an early onset of winter is unlikely.
The weather forecast for North Hesse: After a cloudy Monday, the weather is clearing up
The German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach is forecasting rather changeable weather for Monday: It will be very cloudy, with occasional rain and possible thunderstorms. The maximum temperatures will be between 10 and 14 degrees. According to the DWD, there could be fog and high fog in some areas on Thursday night, which could locally lead to visibility of less than 150 meters. However, once the fog clears, the air could warm significantly from Tuesday (October 15).
Golden October reaches northern Hesse – this is what the weather forecast looks like for this week
From Tuesday, meteorologist Dominik Jung expects a golden October across Germany. There will be no precipitation and, according to the DWD, the maximum temperatures will be 12 to 17 degrees on Tuesday and even 17 to 21 degrees on Wednesday (October 16) and Thursday (October 17).
Although a few drops could occasionally fall in the west, overall it will remain largely dry, experts said. Major drops in temperature are not expected. Dominik Jung even assumes that temperatures will be 1 to 2 degrees above the new climate average until November 2024.
If the temperature deviation in November is actually up to two degrees, according to the meteorologist, this could even lead to one of the ten warmest November months since 1881.
