Records, series and curiosities – the Bundesliga weekend in numbers.

1 – Alexander Nübel assisted a goal for the first time in the Bundesliga.

2 – RB Leipzig is the only team so far to have won both games in this Bundesliga season and is therefore top of the table.

2 – Marco Rose is the first person to be sent off for the second time since the introduction of cards for coaches in 2019. In 2021/22, he was also shown a yellow-red card by Felix Zwayer against Bayern.

3 – Under Dino Toppmöller, Eintracht Frankfurt has won all three Bundesliga games against TSG Hoffenheim – curiously, all 3-1.

3 – After the cup exit in Regensburg, VfL Bochum 1848 also lost its first two Bundesliga matches. Peter Zeidler is the first coach in the professional sector to lose all of his first three competitive matches with VfL.

3,3 – The most unlikely goal of this matchday was scored by Maximilian Arnold (xGoals 3.3 percent).

4 – Borussia Mönchengladbach have won the last four Bundesliga duels against Bochum. The Foals have not had a longer winning streak against any other Bundesliga team.

4 – Loïs Openda scored four times in three Bundesliga matches against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He has scored more goals against no other club – the champions are his favorite opponents.

6 – Sebastiaan Bornauw scored all of his last six Bundesliga goals with his head. The goal against Holstein Kiel was the defender’s first goal in 25 games.

6 – Benedict Hollerbach scored his sixth Bundesliga goal, each of which he scored at home at the Alte Försterei.

7 – Andrej Kramarić has scored Hoffenheim’s last seven Bundesliga goals across all seasons, having already done so once in 2020.

9 – Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in Bremen for nine Bundesliga games.

10 – Maximilian Arnold was once again successful with the dead ball. The captain of VfL Wolfsburg has already scored his tenth direct free kick goal. There is no better one among the current players. Both Wolfsburg goals came from free kicks.

11 – With a record of eight wins and three draws, 1. FC Union Berlin has never lost a Bundesliga home game against a promoted team.

11 – 1. FSV Mainz 05 has not lost any of its last eleven Bundesliga games (5 wins, 6 draws). Only once in the club’s history has there been a longer winning streak: in 2010, FSV remained unbeaten for twelve games in a row under Thomas Tuchel.

13 – VfB Stuttgart are unbeaten in 13 Bundesliga home games across all seasons (9 wins, 4 draws). This is the longest streak for the Swabians in 15 years.

17 – In all 17 Bundesliga games against VfB, Mainz conceded at least one goal.

29 – Tim Kleindienst scored the 1-0 goal in Bochum on his 29th birthday and thus led his foals to victory.

35 – After 35 consecutive unbeaten Bundesliga games, Bayer 04 Leverkusen suffered their first defeat against a German team since the last matchday of the 2022/23 season (0-3 in Bochum). Only Hamburger SV managed this longer in 1982/83 and FC Bayern Munich between 2012/13 and 2013/14.

35,7 Km/h – The fastest player on this matchday was Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong, who also set a record for the 2024/25 season.

50 – For Ralph Hasenhüttl, the 2-0 win over Kiel was his 50th victory as a Bundesliga coach. The coach celebrated five wins in ten games with the Wolves.

100 – Marvin Ducksch played his 100th Bundesliga game. He played his first six games for BVB in 2013/14, and played a total of 69 times for Werder.

126 Km/h – The oomph of the match was provided by Jamie Leweling, who fired his shot into the net at a whopping 126 km/h to make it 2-0 for VfB.
