Sancheville. Price of water unchanged, but creation of a fixed tax. The last meeting of the year of the community of communes of Bonnevalais was held on Tuesday in Sancheville, under the chairmanship of Joël Billard (Horizons).
The main debates focused on the price of drinking water which will remain unchanged in 2025, i.e. €2.90 excluding VAT/m 3 . However, a new tax is created: it is an annual package called “network participation or investment participation”, which will be paid by all subscribers for each meter, regardless of the number of cubic meters consumed. . Its amount for 2025 has been set at €74.00 excluding tax. Water billing for community buildings (aquatic center, childhood center) has been set at €0.50 per m 3 .
Jean-Marc Vanneau, vice-president in charge of water, informed that the 2023 efficiency of the network was 73% due, among other things, to “50 large leaks”. He also indicated that in Bonnevalais, there were on average 20 subscribers per kilometer of distribution network.
Oceanid. Subsidies will be requested from the State, the Department and the Pays Dunois for the creation of a Nordic pool, a climbing wall and a pentagliss next to the Océanide. Out of a total of 2 million euros for the realization of this project, the community of municipalities hopes to obtain €920,000.
Territorial pact.
