Queen Sofia accompanies Infanta Cristina to attend Pablo Urdangarin's handball match
Pablo Urdangarin y Borbón, who just celebrated his 24th birthday two weeks ago, is a professional handball player, like his father, Iñaki Urdangarin, former world champion and Olympic medalist. After playing in the prestigious Barcelona club, Pablo has been playing since this season at Fraikin GM Granollers, another Catalan club which finished the previous season in 3rd position in the national championship.

Infanta Cristina attends her son's matches whenever she can. This Saturday, December 21, the youngest daughter of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, was there in the stands to encourage Pablo, 8th in the order of succession to the Spanish throne. Usually, Infanta Cristina is accompanied by Johanna Zott, the girlfriend of Pablo Urdangarin, with whom the understanding seems wonderful.
