It was in the brand new premises of Yamaha Motor France in Argenteuil that the final of the National Technician Grand Prix France 2024 took place on December 10 and 11, 2024. More measured in size than the old installations in Saint-Ouen-l' Aumône is now a building combining modernity and ecology which creates an atmosphere of calm and serenity to welcome its visitors at the gates of Paris.
Calm was needed for the best technicians in the Yamaha network during the 2024 edition of the National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP). Taking place over two days, regularly for two decades now, the program of this competition presented 6 tests concocted by the dynamic Philippe
Bigottraining manager at Yamaha Motor France. The latter were particularly eclectic, lasting one hour each, supplemented by a final bonus event.
1: 1000 km overhaul on YZF-R1
2: electrical diagnosis on R7
3: Setting the Y-AMT system to MT-09 Y-AMT
4: maintenance of the electronic fork on Tracer 9GT
5: metrology of the engine cylinder head on CP3 890 cm3
6: MRR radar calibration on Tracer 9GT+
7: bonus test, Moro 07 derailleur adjustment
Each competitor had a specific box and all the necessary tools, and was supervised, supervised and monitored at the same time. The motivation was high among all the participants, who knew that only one of them would participate in the European final in March 2025.
This event, in partnership with Garac and INCM, was also attended by representatives of the municipality of Argenteuil, including Georges Mothron, mayor of the city as well as Christophe Guyot, manager of GMT94 Yamaha.
Thus, Yamaha Motor France continues its commitment to the promotion and recognition of technical professions in the motorcycle industry while reaffirming its ambition for excellence and its support for the development of talents within its network.
