Before playing a superhero, a spy or even a detective, Henry Cavill could have been a vampire. Indeed, he was the big favorite for the role of Edward Cullen in the saga Twilight.
Stephanie Meyer, the author of the saga, saw Henry Cavill as the perfect Edward Cullen. But one important detail tipped the scales, putting the actor aside for this ambitious project: age.
