This evening, we hosted the Amiens Gothiques for the second time this week in an arena on fire! After a first victory against the Amiens on Wednesday evening, our BDL renewed by winning six goals to zero. A whitewash from Matija Pintaric, a hat-trick from Aurélien Dair, three more points, a successful evening!
A goalless first period
After 14 minutes of play without any fault, it was Kyle Hardy who was penalized for hooking. But the Amiens failed to take advantage of this powerplay. Return to the locker room with the counter still at 0.
A second third under tension
On the ice, the tension is palpable, but Matias Bachelet manages to position himself perfectly in front of the cage to score the first goal of this match. The nervousness goes up a notch and it doesn't take much for the gloves to fly and a general fight to explode! The sanctions fall against François Beauchemin who is suspended for 5 minutes while James Phelan receives a match penalty! This action seems to cheer up our BDLs who are camped in front of Kozun's cage. It's Alexandre Mallet who makes the break with a superb deflection of a shot from Alexis Binner's blue.
3 DAIR goals in 7 minutes!
For this final period, our BDL won from the start, but it was Aurélien Dair who came out on top with a magnificent hat-trick in less than 7 minutes! François Beauchemin brings his touch to the building and brings the BDL to 4 goals to 0 in this final period.
Our BDL therefore won for the second consecutive time this week against the Gothiques d'Amiens 6 goals to 0.
