Mask Singer is making its comeback on TF1 this Friday, December 20, for a unique evening to mark the holidays. And I might as well tell you: recycling will be in order for Christmas…
Mask Singer is making its comeback on TF1 for a unique and festive evening, to mark the end of year celebrations. This Friday, December 20, from 9:10 p.m., viewers will have the joy of seeing Camille Combal's phenomenon show, in an edition specially concocted for Christmas, with its share of mysteries and surprises. These will nevertheless be a little limited and the broadcast could quickly feel heated.
The concept of Mask Singer remains unchanged: ten celebrities will come and sing on stage, hidden under costumes, each one crazier than the last, while four investigators will try to unmask them. But for this evening dedicated to celebration, Mask Singer decided to bring out from the wardrobe 10 costumes well known to fans, characters who already appeared in previous editions and who will therefore make their return to the set.
And, in times of crisis, it is not just the costumes that will be familiar to investigators and the public. Inside, we will also find former candidates from Mask Singer…and only one celebrity who has never appeared on the show before. Enough to facilitate the task of Kev Adams, Chantal Ladesou, Laurent Ruquier and Anggun, the four investigators who have also already admired the show on numerous occasions in the past. Obviously, the costumes and masked personalities will be interchanged. To go faster in this “express investigation”, clues will be distilled during the broadcast.
Not much new, therefore, in this edition of Mask Singer “Christmas special”. In any case for the moment since TF1 still promises nice gifts. But there is still something new which, on the other hand, has not gone unnoticed: the absence already noted in the jury of Inès Reg, present during the last season, but who is therefore replaced by the Indonesian singer Anggun. The reasons for this casting change are not known, several media have simply recalled that Inès Reg was on tour for her show, “On est ensemble”.
Many recall that the former DALS finalist is no longer really in the odor of sanctity on the first channel, after the scandal that took place during the last dance competition. Inès Reg also crashed TF1 for a TV film which was to be shot this summer… Unless we find her by surprise in the shoes of the Pharaoh, the Banana or the Cosmonaut, there is therefore little chance of seeing her participate in this extraordinary evening. Unlike Laurence Boccolini, Larusso, Denitsa Ikonomova, Amaury Vassili, Vincent Niclo and Agustín Galiana who are among the predictions. Bets are on.
